Job Description

Position:
Mechanical Drafter (Inventor Proficient)
Location:
USA Parkway, NV Pay Range:
$24.00 - $28.00/hour (based on education and experience)
Industry:
Industrial Fabrication / Engineering We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Drafter with strong proficiency in Autodesk Inventor to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a solid background in industrial drafting who is passionate about precision and design. You'll be responsible for creating detailed shop and fabrication drawings for custom industrial products.
Key Responsibilities:
Create accurate and detailed fabrication/shop drawings using Autodesk Inventor (Mechanical Desktop) Interpret and work from engineering sketches, specifications, and blueprints Collaborate with engineers and production teams to ensure design accuracy and manufacturability Maintain drawing standards and documentation for production use Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in drafting processes and design quality Support the team by completing related tasks as needed
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of recent experience in industrial drafting Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor (Mechanical Desktop) is required Must provide work samples demonstrating drafting capabilities Strong mechanical aptitude and solid math skills Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings Completion of a Drafting Technology Program or Associate's degree preferred Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
