Job Description

Children's knitwear division of Apparel Company has an opportunity for a Technical Designer with minimum 3+ years' experience updating and ensuring the garment construction and production process is accurate through the product lifecycle.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Help create initial spec sheets based on sketches and/or photos. Communicate with overseas vendors regarding construction and fit Assist designers in updating tech packs & specs sheets. Evaluate prototype samples and fit samples for measurement, fit and construction accuracy and quality Ability to make flat technical sketches with clear instructions. Take photos of samples and details.
REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge of grading, patternmaking, construction & fabrics, experience in KIDS knitwear a must Well organized, detailed oriented, team player with clear communication skills Experience in, PLM, Illustrator & Photoshop, Excel a plus. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Salary:
$75K+
