Cabinetry Drafter Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Drafter to produce accurate technical drawings for custom cabinetry projects. The Drafter will work closely with designers, project managers, and production teams to create shop drawings, cut lists, and 3D renderings that guide the fabrication process.

Key Responsibilities:

Create detailed shop drawings based on design concepts, architectural plans, and site measurements. Generate cut lists and hardware specifications for production. Revise and update drawings based on feedback from clients, project managers, and production teams. Ensure drawings meet company standards, manufacturing capabilities, and project requirements. Work closely with engineers, project managers, and shop staff to clarify design intent and resolve technical issues. Maintain organized records of drawing revisions and final approved sets. Prepare 3D renderings or presentations for client approvals when needed.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in drafting software such as AutoCAD, Cabinet Vision, SketchUp, SolidWorks or similar tools. Strong understanding of cabinet construction, woodworking methods, and materials. Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings. High attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. 3+ years of experience in cabinetry, millwork, or a related field preferred.
