Full Job Description Position Summary:
The Dental CAD Designer will use specialized software to create patient-specific, customized restorations.
Essential Responsibilities:
Design and Develop Restorations:
Create and develop precise, reliable, and patient-specific prosthetics using CAD software and 3D printing, ensuring designs adhere to individual patient anatomy and individual needs. Collaborate with
Dental Professionals:
Work closely with dentists, oral surgeons, and other dental professionals to gather requirements, ensure guides align with specific procedures and clinical best practices, and receive feedback for design modifications.
Ensure Quality and Compliance:
Ensure designs comply with industry regulations and quality standards, maintaining detailed documentation of the design process and ensuring designs meet safety and efficacy criteria.
Leverage Technology Expertise:
Keep abreast of advancements in dental technology, and design methodologies, contributing to research and development for improved design and functionality. Work with CAD/CAM software and technology including but not limited to CoDiagnostix, 3Shape, ExoCad and Meshmixer.
Support Workflow Efficiency:
Meet production deadlines, uphold quality benchmarks, and communicate effectively with the CAD/CAM manager and Team Leads regarding workload or technical challenges.
Maintain Work Environment:
Keep workstation, tools, and digital files organized and clean in accordance with lab safety and quality procedures. Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Experience with the following software programs: 3Shape, Exocad, Meshmixer and other desktop scanners and software Technologically proficient (at a minimum, be able to troubleshoot basic issues with CAD programs as well as be able to use basic programs such as Microsoft office, G-suite, etc.) Previous experience with full arch design, required Minimum 2 years dental laboratory experience as a CAD/CAM laboratory technician Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferred CDT degree, preferred Hybridge, LLC is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
