Senior 3D CAD Designer
  • Chief Architect (High-End Residential)
Location:
Columbus, Ohio Job Type:
Full-Time Who We Are We are a premier design-build firm specializing in luxury kitchens, bathrooms, basements, whole-home renovations, and custom additions . Our work is detail-driven, design-focused, and built to the highest standards. We do not produce average projects—and we are not looking for average candidates. The Role We are hiring a high-level 3D CAD Designer with proven expertise in Chief Architect who can produce accurate, build-ready construction documents and detailed 3D models for complex residential projects. This role requires someone who fully understands how homes are built —not just how to draw them. What You'll Do Create precise 3D models and construction drawings using Chief Architect (non-negotiable) Develop complete, build-ready plan sets including layouts, elevations, sections, and details Integrate structural, mechanical, and construction systems into all drawings Work closely with project managers and field teams to ensure accuracy and feasibility Identify and resolve design or constructability issues before they reach the field Produce high-end renderings and visuals for client presentations Maintain an exceptional level of detail, accuracy, and organization Requirements (Read Carefully) Expert-level experience with Chief Architect software•
REQUIRED
Strong, working knowledge of residential construction, framing, structural systems, and mechanicals (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) Proven experience producing construction documents for high-end remodeling or custom homes Ability to think like a builder—not just a designer High attention to detail with zero tolerance for sloppy or incomplete work Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with a professional team Preferred (Strong Advantage) Experience in luxury kitchen, bath, and whole-home renovation projects Background in a design-build firm Ability to produce client-ready renderings and presentations Compensation & Benefits Competitive, performance-based compensation Health, dental, and vision insurance Retirement plan with company match Paid time off (PTO) Paid holidays Profit sharing Long-term growth opportunity within a high-performing company
