Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for documentation of detailed designs for prototypes and production products. Must have knowledge of sheet metal enclosures, spot welding, machining, and other manufacturing processes as well as the CNC machines such as press brakes, turret punching, and laser cutting. Support all development and manufacturing activities. The candidate must be focused on all design related issues with proven analytical and creative problem solving skills with an ability to manage multiple complex projects at the same time. Works directly with customers and vendors. Must adhere to GD&T standards Creates and maintains all CAD drawings and files. Monitor and control email traffic for designs throughout the approval process as well as manufacturing improvements. Provides technical support to the fabricators, welders and assemblers of tool storage equipment and contract manufacturing projects. Assure final product quality through a commitment to high quality and accurate designs, bills of materials, work instructions, timely support and finished product audits. Programming for CNC sheet metal machines would be of benefit.

Personal Qualifications:

Drafting technology knowledge with a proficiency in Inventor or Solidworks Self-Starter/Self-Motivated. General mechanical aptitude Attention to detail a must Quality oriented- "Do it right the first time" Reliable & Dependable Excellent oral and written skills. Professional demeanor and respectful in all situations. Honest with good Integrity. Positive attitude & Team Player Flexible and willing to help others
