CAD Graphic Designer

Graphic Designer / CAD Designer - Monument Artwork Gaydos Monument Co. Canonsburg, PA Position Summary Gaydos Monument Co. is seeking a detail-oriented Graphic Designer / CAD Designer to create high-quality artwork and layouts for cemetery monuments. In this role, you will design custom monument graphics that are sandblasted and laser-etched daily in our fabrication shop. Your work will be installed in cemeteries throughout western Pennsylvania and across the United States. Key Responsibilities Create graphic and visual layouts of monument artwork using Gerber Omega CAD software, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop. Produce accurate shop drawings and diagrams for custom-shaped monuments using Gerber Omega. Edit and process photographic images for laser etching and develop original laser-etching designs. Plot jobs to the stencil plotter (training will be provided). Collaborate with the production team in our fabrication shop to ensure designs are executed accurately. Qualifications Strong attention to detail and a solid work ethic are essential. Ability to use a measuring tape and perform simple math (including fractions). Excellent spelling, grammar, and typing skills. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or a related field (preferred or currently pursuing). Prior experience with CAD software, graphic design, or monument/engraving work is helpful but not required. Relevant Experience Previous titles that align well with this role include: CAD Designer, CAD Drafter, Computer Aided Designer, Mechanical Drafter, Graphic Designer, and Industrial Designer. Compensation & Schedule Starting salary is negotiable and will be competitive based on education, experience, and skill level.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (8-hour shifts with a paid 30-minute lunch).
