Job description Our drafting team plays a key role in each project and in the overall company success. If you are able to manage multiple jobs, adapt to changes, and thrive in fast-paced deadline-driven environment - this is the job for you. This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position. Our core business hours are 8am - 5pm, M-F, with the opportunity for overtime. We offer growth opportunities for motivated professionals and a great compensation package. Role Sieling & Jones is seeking an Architectural CAD Drafter to develop plans, elevations, sections, and details using 2025 AutoCAD Light. You will work closely with other departments to ensure accurate drawings.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Prepare thorough plans, elevations, sections, and details of woodwork components & paneling for client approval and fabrication Work with an existing team to coordinate drawings and provide quality design work to client's specifications Assist Project Managers with changes and additions to drawings as needed Document, organize, and maintain project information Follow drafting schedule and adapt to changes promptly Proactively communicate product or schedule concerns with other departments
Skills & Requirements:
Experience using AutoCAD to produce detailed shop drawings or architectural drawings (including layout experience) Proficiency with MS Office A keen eye for detail and ability to visualize and understand 3-D dimensions Ability to communicate professionally via phone and email with internal and external clients Ability to multitask and prioritize Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently Cabinetry and woodworking knowledge is a plus. ERP experience a plus
