Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a CAD Draftsman and bring innovative designs to life through precise technical drawings and detailed schematics. In this role, you will be instrumental in translating conceptual ideas into accurate, comprehensive CAD models and drawings that support construction, manufacturing, and engineering projects. Your expertise will help streamline project workflows, enhance collaboration across teams, and ensure the highest standards of drafting quality. This is an exciting opportunity for motivated professionals eager to contribute their technical skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, SketchUp, NavisWorks, and SolidWorks to support architectural, civil, or mechanical projects. Create precise schematics and technical documentation that adhere to project specifications and industry standards. Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction teams to interpret design concepts and incorporate feedback into finalized drafts. Assist in the preparation of construction documents, including plans, sections, elevations, and details for various project phases. Utilize Civil 3D for civil infrastructure design tasks such as grading plans and site layouts. Ensure all drawings are accurate, well-organized, and compliant with safety regulations and client requirements. Support project teams by providing revisions and updates to CAD models as needed throughout project lifecycles. Proven experience with CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, SketchUp, NavisWorks, or SolidWorks. Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and drafting standards. Familiarity with creating schematics and technical drawings for construction or manufacturing purposes. Ability to interpret engineering sketches and translate them into detailed CAD models. Experience with 2D animation is a plus for visual presentations of designs. Excellent attention to detail combined with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects efficiently.
