We have an opening for a CAD Drafter to create 2D AutoCAD and 3D Inventor/SolidWorks drawings. Projects are primarily sheet metal designs that are forwarded to us for laser cutting. Applicant will need to understand the fundamentals of sheet metal layout and design, account for bend and thickness allowances, and ultimately create flat pattern layouts for our laser. Applicant must be self motivated and a team player. Applicant will also support the sales staff with estimating jobs, assisting in project management, and purchasing. CAD Drafter Responsibilities and Duties may include: Be proficient in 2D AutoCAD and 3D Inventor/SolidWorks Understand the fundamentals of sheet metal layout and design, and create flat patterns for laser cutting
