Job Description

Our client in the Seattle, WA location is currently hiring for an AutoCAD Designer. This position will be a hybrid opportunity working Tuesday through Thursday onsite and Monday and Friday remote. This role supports large fulfillment and sort center projects and offers the opportunity to work alongside engineers on both current and future design initiatives. Pay
  • $32.00
  • $40.00/hour (Depending on years of experience, tenure, AutoCAD proficiency, and relevant project experience) Location

Hybrid:
Tuesday-Thursday onsite, Monday & Friday remote) Schedule
  • Standard Monday
  • Friday (40 hours per week) Responsibilities
  • Produce highly detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings for material handling equipment, work areas, and fulfillment center layouts
  • Develop accurate plan views and corresponding elevation views following established drafting standards
  • Modify and update drawings based on existing standards, examples, and field conditions
  • Support design efforts for new initiatives, retrofits, and standardization across multiple facilities
  • Manage CAD layers, drawing organization, and documentation standards
  • Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional partners in a shared project environment
  • Maintain consistency, clarity, and accuracy across all drawing sets Qualification Requirements
  • 5+ years of hands-on CAD experience, primarily using AutoCAD
  • Strong experience producing plan and elevation layouts for material handling systems
  • Proven ability to manage layers, drawing standards, and detailed layouts
  • Associate's Degree or higher in Drafting, Design, or a related field
  • 1+ year of experience supporting warehouse, distribution, or fulfillment center environments
  • Basic working knowledge of material handling and storage systems
  • Experience working in collaborative tools such as BIM 360 and Smartsheets Disqualifiers
  • Less than 5 years of AutoCAD-focused CAD experience
  • No experience producing plan and elevation layouts
  • No experience supporting warehouse, distribution, or fulfillment center environments Employee Value Proposition
