Job Description

Holland's Custom Cabinets is seeking an AutoCAD Engineer specializing in commercial work. The position is an in-person role located in El Cajon, CA.
Required Qualifications:
In-person position only (no remote or hybrid work) Minimum of two years of experience using AutoCAD or comparable CAD software in a commercial environment Working knowledge of ADA compliance requirements Strong problem-solving and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines Willingness to learn, grow, and advance within the company Ability and willingness to perform field measurements when required Understanding of commercial cabinetry and millwork Preferred Qualifications (Not Required): Experience with Cabinet Vision, Microvellum, or similar cabinetry design software Knowledge of commercial construction methods and architectural drawings Familiarity with building codes and industry standards Experience preparing shop drawings and fabrication documents Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office applications Strong communication and collaboration skills Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate drawings Experience coordinating with architects, contractors, and project managers The position will be compensated on an hourly basis, with a starting pay range of $30.00 to $35.00 per hour, depending on the candidate's experience and qualifications. This is a full-time position requiring a 40-hour work week unless otherwise directed by management. Standard working hours are 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., although schedule adjustments may be considered with prior approval from the manager.
