In this role, you will be responsible for creating technical drawings and plans that support architectural, engineering, and construction projects. Your expertise in various CAD software will enable you to translate conceptual ideas into detailed schematics, ensuring accuracy and clarity throughout the design process. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative projects while honing your drafting skills in a collaborative environment. Duties Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for architectural, mechanical, electrical, and construction projects using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, and SolidWorks. Create schematics, system designs, interior layouts, and mechanical components with precision and adherence to project specifications. Utilize SketchUp, Rhino 3D (Rhinoceros 3D), Grasshopper 3D, and 3ds Max to produce realistic models and visualizations for client presentations and project reviews. Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, designers, and project managers to interpret design concepts into accurate technical drawings. Prepare detailed construction documents, including plans, sections, elevations, and annotations that meet industry standards. Review and revise drawings based on feedback or evolving project requirements while maintaining consistency across all documentation. Knowledge of city permitting and plan submission processes Qualifications Proven experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, or SolidWorks is essential. Familiarity with SketchUp, Rhino 3D (Rhinoceros 3D), Grasshopper 3D, 3ds Max, Bluebeam Revu, and other visualization tools is highly desirable. Strong understanding of drafting standards related to architecture, construction, mechanical design, or system design. Knowledge of schematic development and technical drawing practices across multiple disciplines. Ability to interpret complex design concepts into clear technical schematics with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams. A degree or certification in Drafting Technology, Architecture, Engineering or related field is preferred but not mandatory. Join us in shaping innovative designs through precise drafting!
