Job DescriptionJob DescriptionCAD Technician About the Role Our client is seeking an experienced CAD Technician Level 2 to join their team in Juno Beach, Florida, with the option for remote work. This role combines advanced CAD expertise with GIS proficiency, focusing on ArcGIS Field Maps configuration, deployment, and training. You will work directly with engineering and construction site teams to design quality assessment forms, train site superintendents, and support broader geospatial and data management efforts. Approximately 25% travel to construction sites is required. Under limited supervision, you will produce complex drawings using CAD technology, demonstrate knowledge of specifications, and provide direction and training to other employees. This is a 12-month assignment with opportunities to contribute to impactful energy projects. Key ResponsibilitiesManage and support special projects, including deploying quality assessment forms in ArcGIS Field MapsProvide training to site superintendents and construction teams on mobile GIS solutionsTravel to job sites (approximately 25% of the time) to assist with technical assessments and system implementationDesign and update quality assessment forms for construction sitesSupport broader geospatial and data management initiatives across the organizationProduce complex engineering drawings using CAD technology, ensuring adherence to specificationsDevelop and improve work processes with management oversightRequired Qualifications6-10 years of experience in CAD technology, project coordination, GIS applications, and geodatabase managementExpertise in ArcGIS Field MapsProficiency in ArcGIS Pro (basic data review and edits)Strong verbal and written communication skillsValid driver's license with no alcohol- or drug-related driving offenses within the previous five yearsBachelor's degree in a related field OR Associate degree with equivalent work experience in CAD, Engineering Technology, or a related fieldPreferred SkillsProfessional certification in CAD or engineering technologyExperience supporting construction or energy projectsArcGIS Enterprise experienceExperience conducting training and creating documentationSix Sigma Yellow Belt certificationWhy Join Us Our client offers a collaborative environment where your expertise in CAD and GIS will directly support critical energy infrastructure projects.
