CADD Drafter

Company Overview Master Builders PCT is a residential design-build firm that works in new home design, residential remodel projects, and landscape architecture projects. Our projects include many unique and varied projects that challenge us on a daily basis. Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Drafter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in technical drafting, with proficiency in various CAD and design software. The successful applicant will be adept at taking our designs and drafting them into professional 2d and 3D presentation drawings. Responsibilities Develop detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, or other intuitive drafting programs to support project planning and execution. Create schematics and system designs for architectural, mechanical, and interior projects aligned with client specifications. Utilize SketchUp, or equivalent softwares, to produce conceptual models and visualizations for presentations and planning purposes. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers to refine drawings ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements. Prepare construction documents, including plans, sections, elevations, and details that facilitate accurate implementation. Assist in graphic design tasks related to project branding or presentation materials as needed. Maintain organized CAD libraries and documentation for efficient workflow management. Support quality control by reviewing drawings for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to project guidelines. Experience Proven experience in drafting within architectural, mechanical, or interior design fields using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino 3D, or ArchiCAD or other intuitive drafting programs. Familiarity with construction processes and technical schematics essential for accurate system design. Knowledge of graphic design principles applicable to presentation materials or project visuals. Experience working on system design projects including mechanical systems or interior layouts preferred. Ability to interpret technical specifications and translate them into precise drawings. Strong understanding of drafting standards and best practices across multiple software platforms. Excellent attention to detail combined with effective communication skills to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
