Job Description
Civil Drafter / Designer (1+ Years Experience) Launch your civil design career in pipeline infrastructure We are seeking a Civil Drafter/Designer with 1+ year of experience to join a growing team supporting pipeline routing and infrastructure projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career designer looking to build hands-on experience, work closely with engineers and project managers, and contribute to real-world construction projects from concept through execution. What You'll Do Use CAD and Civil 3D to prepare plats, property sketches, alignment sheets, permit drawings, hydrostatic drawings, and construction method exhibits for pipeline routing projects Support Mappers, Engineers, and Project Managers with day-to-day design and drafting needs Apply engineering data from Excel tables to develop accurate, construction-ready drawings Perform self-checks and participate in peer reviews to ensure drawing quality and consistency Assist with QA/QC reviews of drawings prepared by other designers and drafters Follow established drafting standards while continuing to develop technical skills What You Bring 1+ year of experience in civil drafting or design using Civil 3D / AutoCAD Civil 3D Experience and.or Knowdedge with civil survey drafting, mapping, and pipeline routing Basic knowledge of pipeline design, construction, and engineering concepts Familiarity with land development, grading plans, and topographic surveys Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn in a collaborative environment Nice to Have(Not required) Exposure to GIS software Experience with AutoCAD Map Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) Associate's degree preferred (Diploma required) Why Join? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
