Medical, Dental, Vision; PTO; 401(k); Career Growth Opportunities About the Opportunity An organization is seeking a CAD Drafter to support energy infrastructure design and drafting projects. This role focuses on creating base maps, site plans, and utility drawings using AutoCAD while collaborating with design teams to deliver accurate and high-quality project deliverables. Job Duties
  • Develop base maps, site plans, and existing condition drawings for infrastructure and utility projects.
  • Utilize AutoCAD to create and manage drawings, layouts, and file relationships.
  • Follow CAD standards for layering, symbols, annotation, and sheet layout.
  • Interpret sketches, notes, and data to produce technical drawings, charts, and overlays.
  • Coordinate details, dimensions, and notes across multiple drawing sheets.
  • Collaborate with drafters, designers, and engineers to complete project tasks.
  • Ensure drawings comply with company and industry standards.
  • Support project teams under the guidance of senior drafting and design staff. Qualifications
  • 0-5 years of AutoCAD drafting experience.
  • Completion of introductory and intermediate AutoCAD coursework required.
  • Associate degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, Design, or related field preferred.
  • Experience with site layout, utility design, boundary and easement plans.
  • Strong understanding of AutoCAD tools, model/paper space, units, and scaling.
  • Ability to apply basic math concepts (algebra, geometry, trigonometry).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established drafting standards.
