job summary: Our client is seeking a Drafting Technician in Hickory, NC (hybrid). Join Our Client, a global pioneer in materials science! We need detail-oriented drafters with CAD knowledge and a technical degree or 2D/3D proficiency. Help create category-defining optical communications products that keep the world connected!

Hickory, North Carolina job type: Contract salary: $20.00 - 21.42 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Associates responsibilities: Safely measure existing plant floor equipment to generate accurate 3D models.

Correct and update redlined drawings issued by drafting leads and engineering teams.

Convert legacy hand-drawn and AutoCAD plans into fully associative 3D models.

Produce precise 2D detail, sheet metal, and weldment drawings from existing 3D models.

Organize files in Autodesk Vault while ensuring strict compliance with ASME/ANSI and company drafting guidelines.
