Primary Purpose The CAD Technical Draftsperson is responsible for preparing, revising, and maintaining accurate technical drawings in support of engineering and field operations. This position applies established drafting standards, practices, and procedures while utilizing PC-based drafting and office software. The role requires strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to complete assignments accurately and on schedule Primary Duties Prepare, revise, and maintain technical drawings using PC-based drafting software such as MicroStation, AutoCAD, or ESRI (GIS). Interpret design markups, sketches, and instructions to produce accurate drawings. Apply established drafting standards, practices, and procedures to ensure quality and consistency. Complete assigned drafting tasks accurately and within established schedules. Utilize PC-based office software, including: o Word processing o Spreadsheet applications o Database systems o PDF creation and conversion tools o E-mail and electronic communication platforms Maintain organized electronic files in accordance with company guidelines. Perform basic quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of work. Communicate effectively with supervisors, engineers, and team members regarding assignments and task status. Minimum Qualifications Minimum Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree in Computer Aided Design (CAD) or a related field OR
  • An equivalent combination of education, technical training, and/or experience satisfactory to the Company.
  • Demonstrated experience using PC-based drafting software (e.
g., MicroStation, Auto
CAD, ESRI/GIS
).
  • Experience using standard PC-based productivity applications (word processing, spreadsheets, databases, PDF software, and e-mail).
  • Knowledge of general drafting standards, practices, and procedures.
  • Ability to produce accurate drawings and meet required schedules. Required Skills and Abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Basic computer and technical aptitude
  • Ability to follow established processes and technical directions
  • Time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Willingness and ability to learn new tools, systems, and standards as required Pre-Employment Requirements

  • Primarily an office-based position requiring extended use of computer workstations.
  • The position is designated as a 2-Day WFH (Work From Home) role/schedule o The role requires prolonged periods of sitting and working on a PC o Participating in Virtual meetings via video conference and collaboration platforms o Must have reliable High-Speed Internet access and the ability to use companyprovided software/hardware Equal Opportunity Statemen Benefits Hourly rates will be paid in accordance with terms of the candidate's skills, qualifications, experience or collective bargaining agreement: $33.
