Residential Architectural Drafter/Designer

Residential Architectural Drafter/Designer Murray Franklyn is a highly successful home builder and real estate developer celebrating over 60 years in the Puget Sound area. We are seeking a full-time Residential Architectural Drafter/Designer with a minimum of 3 years of experience in residential design. Summary of Job Duties The position resides in the Planning and Design Department with respect to residential architecture. This position is responsible for the timely and accurate execution and management of architectural drawings. The Architectural Drafter/Designer will participate in the process of creating new residential designs while also coordinating with engineering consultants. Participation with permits production and management on all levels is essential.

code compliance. Other duties as requested Qualifications Minimum of three years residential drafting/architectural experience. AutoCAD experience required (3D Modeling, Revit and/or Sketchup a plus). Proficient in all Microsoft Office Products. A willingness to bring new, fresh, creative ideas. Able to work well in a collaborative manner.

Education:

Bachelor of Architecture or similar education. Architectural license not required. Single family residential experience required. Knowledge of residential wood frame construction a must. This is an in-office position, no remote work.
