Job Description
Dekker is seeking a BIM/Revit Technician with experience or interest in structural modeling, to use their skills in a team-oriented environment to collaborate on highly creative designs for a variety of project types. As passionate and self-driven team members at Dekker, candidates would play a key role in developing building designs backed by the support of a firm that has been a staple in the industry for over 60 years. Responsibilities Develop 3D models using Revit. Create 2D sections and details in Revit. Create families and components and maintain libraries of Revit content. Deliver high quality documents using firm standards and quality assurance processes. Contribute to researching and disseminating knowledge of best practices and industry advancements. Coordinate with project Engineers, Architects, and other BIM technicians. Collaboratively engage in project work with responsibilities as assigned. Work under the direction of the project design team to produce drawings and documents. Provide Revit support to structural project staff. Complete redlines with accuracy. Gather and provide BIM data from Revit models including takeoffs when required. Identify and communicate out progress, accomplishments, challenges, and support needed to complete responsibilities.
