Our practical design and trouble-shooting strategies maximize the potential for successful projects. Our senior staff average over 20 years' experience in design and implementation.Job Summary:
As CAD Mechanical Designer, you will work with the Franklin Engineering team to complete a wide variety of design projects to support our clients. You will work with engineers of different disciplines to deliver quality designs to support our clients' success. You will interact with clients, contractors and vendors during the design process, all the way through project construction and startup.Responsibilities:
• Generate Revit project and family files Import files from Point Clouds, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks into Revit Develop general building arrangement layouts and equipment arrangements in Revit and AutoCAD Development/review of design deliverables, inc. as General Arrangements, Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams Conduct field walk downs and gather data at client facilities Design of basic structural steel components (pipe supports, pipe racks, platforms, stairs, etc.) Design of basic duct work and related components Design of basic concrete footers, foundations, slabs, etc.Essential qualifications and experience:
3 - 5 years experience in Revit and AutoCAD Strong communication skills Detail oriented Preferred qualifications and experience: Associate of Applied Science degree Structural and civil design specific to chemical process or other industrial process plants Revit AutoCAD Plant 3D AutoCAD design software.
