Overview:

A client in the Chattanooga area is seeking a Mechanical Design Drafter to support the design and manufacturing of heavy equipment. This role works extensively with AutoCAD 2D and 3D CAD software, with a strong emphasis on SolidWorks, to produce detailed engineering drawings used directly in production. The Design Drafter is responsible for translating engineering requirements into accurate, build?ready documentation. Responsibilities include supporting new equipment designs as well as creating modifications and updates to existing products. Attention to detail is critical, as this work directly impacts manufacturing quality, product safety, and production schedules.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

Associate degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Drafting, Design Technology, or a related field

SOFTWARE

SolidWorks experience 3D modeling and assemblies Experience with AutoCAD 2D required Background in industrial, manufacturing, etc. environments Nice to
