Job Description
As a CAD Designer I, you will be responsible for CAD design and drafting of precast concrete vault buildings and precast utility products using CAD software. Provide basic knowledge on general building construction and precast concrete products. Responsibilities Produce precast concrete vaulted building design and detailing using AutoCAD. Create submittal packages, proposal drawings and production drawing sets. Produce Bill of Materials from Manufacturing Instructions and drawings. Provide continual improvement suggestions as part of a collaborative team. All other duties as assigned. Education & Experience High School Diploma or Equivalent Drafter Certification preferred 0 - 2 years' experience in industrial design Skills & Abilities Proficient in the use of Autodesk products (Revit, Inventor 3D, AutoCAD 2D) Understanding of drafting standards & principles Intermediate with Microsoft Excel (formulas, hyperlinks, sorting and searching data). Must be a self-starter capable of working with minimal supervision Working knowledge of mathematical concepts (calculate volumes, simple load calculations, metric equivalents, drawing scales) Must be detail oriented Ability to work safely in an industrial manufacturing environment Desire to continue to grow and develop Competencies Teamwork Communication Integrity and trust Customer focus Continuous improvement Adaptability Accountability Innovation The Benefits...
