CAD Designer

Full-time Computer-Aided Design (CAD) Operator/Designer position (in-office) available at our Nashville location. Seeking civil engineering-focused CAD designers to assist with land development projects ranging from conceptual layout designs to full construction drawings utilizing Autodesk Civil 3D.

Job Responsibilities include:

2D drafting of site layouts such as parking lots, retail centers, apartments, schools, warehouses, and subdivisions using engineering specifications and zoning requirements 2D paperspace setup and sheet organization for plan sets Exhibit and map creation utilizing GIS shapefiles and imagery 3D design and layout of utility networks with associated profiles 3D corridor modeling and/or grading techniques 3D surface modeling and data analysis

Qualifications:

2-4+ years of on-the-job AutoCAD experience or CAD certification preferred. Civil 3D experience is a plus and will be reflected in compensation. Not a Civil 3D user yet? We're happy to train candidates who are proficient in AutoCAD.

Pay Rate:

Flexible Work Schedule:

Standard office hours are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday Flex hourly schedule option: work four 9-hour days (M-Th) to earn a half-day

Fridays Bonuses:

Historically two bonuses per year, based on merit, achievement, and company performance

Paid Time Off:

10 days of vacation per year, with the ability to carry over up to 40 hours and earn additional days after five years 20 hours of personal time annually for illness, bereavement, or personal matters
