Mechanical Designer/drafter

Description As a Mechanical Drafter you will be responsible for creating, updating, and managing 2D drawings and 3D models that are essential for manufacturing assembly, and quality control. Key function will be getting designs properly transitioned into Duro (PLM/manufacturing system) Support the team's transition/enablement efforts by helping port and structure designs into Duro PLM, addressing import/formatting issues and ensuring data is manufacturing-ready. Build and maintain BOM structures and drawing packages to support scaling, inventory management, and production documentation. Adjust/standardize drawings and documents so they can be released through Duro and consumed by manufacturing effectively. Work closely with mechanical engineers and manufacturing stakeholders to clarify intent, update revisions, and ensure correct release status. Maintain drawing revision control and support ECO/ECN-style updates (process may vary internally). Support documentation needs across multiple Titan subsystems as priorities shift (startup cadence). Additional Skills & Qualifications Familiarity working with cross-functional engineering teams (mechanical/electrical/test/ops) supporting complex equipment programs. Experience Level Intermediate Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Austin, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $42.00/hr.
