Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Swimming Pool Designer / CAD Pool Construction Plans Drafting / Architectural CAD Drafter to join our innovative design team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating precise, comprehensive construction plans and technical drawings for custom swimming pools and related outdoor structures. Your expertise in CAD software and building code compliance will ensure that each project meets safety standards, client specifications, and aesthetic goals. Please Note:

There are two friendly dogs in the office daily. Duties Develop detailed swimming pool design schematics, construction details, and technical drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, and other CAD software. Create accurate 3D models of pool structures and surrounding landscapes utilizing SketchUp, 3ds Max, Rhino (Rhinoceros 3D), Grasshopper 3D, and other modeling tools. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to interpret design concepts into precise digital plans that adhere to building codes and safety standards. Generate comprehensive construction documentation including system layouts, schematics, sections, elevations, and assembly details. Incorporate building information modeling (BIM) techniques to optimize project coordination and streamline construction workflows. Conduct building code analysis to ensure all designs meet local regulations for safety, accessibility, and environmental standards. Assist in the review of schematics and technical drawings for accuracy, clarity, and constructability prior to project approval. Qualifications Proven experience in architectural CAD drafting with a focus on pool or outdoor structure design. Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; experience with Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, SolidWorks or similar software is highly desirable. Strong skills in 3D CAD modeling software such as SketchUp, Rhino (Rhinoceros 3D), Grasshopper 3D, 3ds Max or similar tools for realistic visualization. Knowledge of construction detail documentation and engineering CAD design principles specific to outdoor pools and landscape features. Familiarity with building code compliance related to pool safety standards and local regulations. Ability to interpret architectural schematics and translate them into detailed construction plans efficiently. Experience with BIM tools for integrated project delivery is a plus. Excellent graphic design skills for creating clear visuals and presentation materials. Strong understanding of system design principles applicable to pool mechanics or water features is advantageous. Effective communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, contractors, and clients. Create detailed drawings, blueprints, and plans using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software

• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers to understand project requirements
• Review and analyze specifications, sketches, and other data to determine the best approach for creating technical drawings
• Incorporate design changes and modifications into existing drawings
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of all drawings, including dimensions, materials, and other relevant information
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless integration of design elements
• Maintain organized files and documentation of all drawings Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, or similar programs Strong knowledge of drafting principles and techniques Familiarity with interior design concepts and practices Experience with 3D modeling software such PoolStudio Knowledge of mechanical design principles is a plus Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work•Strong problem-solving skills Proficiency in Bluebeam or other PDF editing software.
