Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Drafter at Rock Solid Precast in Conroe, TX. The Drafter will be responsible for creating technical drawings; collaborating with engineers and team members; and ensuring designs meet industry standards and specifications. Key responsibilities Interpret civil site plans and drainage layouts to develop corresponding precast solutions. Produce accurate shop drawings and production drawings for precast stormwater structures using CAD software. Perform quality checks to identify and correct drafting errors before project release to production. Revise shop drawings based on design changes and client feedback. Work with sales, project management and production teams to ensure accurate representation of structure dimensions. May be required to assist in other office duties as needed. Qualifications Proficiency in CAD drafting software. SolidWorks is a plus, but not required. Associate's degree in drafting or related field, or equivalent experience 1 to 3 years of experience in precast or construction industry. Knowledge of construction and engineering principles Ability to read and interpret civil plans, grading plans and utility drawings Strong attention to detail and accuracy in technical drawings Ability to collaborate with engineers Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
