Pay Range:

$27 - $29/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with preparing drawings and revising existing engineering drawings of basic components from specific sketches or layouts. Assist with preparing and revising permit & plot drawings. Responsible for adhering to company and client drafting standards and procedures. Responsible for adhering to the drafting practices of selected discipline. Assist in drafting design and documentation for various projects. Assist with tasks utilizing standard drafting detail programs. Assist in continuous drafting detail improvement efforts. Research solutions to project concerns and recommend solutions to design problems. Performs other duties as assigned and comply with all policies and standards.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

Key Skills; Minimum 2 years of experience with overhead transmission line design. Must have experience with either AutoCAD or MicroStation. Associates Degree. Course work in drafting technology Required or specialized CAD certification Required. Having AutoCAD and/or Micro-Station experience is a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong problem solving and analytical skills. Basic knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Demonstrated leadership skills. Self-motivated and eager learner, aptitude to grow and develop within the field.
