Overview:

We are seeking a skilled CAD Drafter to join our team. As a CAD Drafter, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software. Your expertise in drafting and design will contribute to the successful completion of various projects. This is a paid position.

Responsibilities:

• Create accurate and detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD software
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to understand project requirements and specifications
• Develop 2D models of mechanical and structural designs, schematics, and layouts.
• Review and revise drawings based on feedback from team members
• Ensure that all drawings comply with industry standards and regulations
• Perform quality checks on completed drawings to identify any errors or inconsistencies
• Maintain organized documentation of all drawings and related files

Skills:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Strong understanding of mechanical and structural design principles and techniques
• Knowledge of schematic diagrams and technical drawings
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting work
• Strong problem-solving skills to address design challenges
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members
• Produce detailed fabrication drawings for shop.
• Familiar with welding symbols and procedures.
