At Canrig, we view the CAD Designer I role as the starting point for a long‑term engineering and design career. Typical growth opportunities may include:
CAD Designer II / Senior CAD Designer- Expanded responsibility for complex assemblies, tolerance analysis, and cross‑functional projects Design Engineer / Mechanical Engineer
- Transition into engineering roles with increased design ownership and analysis Technical Specialist
- Deep expertise in CAD standards, GD&T, manufacturability, or product platforms Project or Lead Roles
