Job Description
Mitchell & Associates, Inc. has an immediate opening for a full-time CAD Technician. We are an Established Civil Engineering and Land Surveying Firm in Central Texas seeking motivated, energetic, competent and qualified individuals for immediate hire in our Killeen office. We provide surveying services in 10 primary counties, principally Bell, McLennan, Coryell, and Lampasas. Primary Responsibilities Managing the detailed drafting of CAD drawings and preparation of land survey documents under the supervision of a Registered Professional Land Surveyor Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D on boundary, ALTA/NSPS, topographic, and easement surveys Work closely with survey crew members and office staff to draft survey data Work with managers to meet schedule deadlines Manipulate Point data for the extraction of survey features used in drafting Existing surface creation in CAD to depict an accurate representation of field conditions Interpret record documents and accurately represent them in a CAD environment Required Qualifications 1 year of experience with CAD or some formal training Good communication and collaboration skills Ability to project the time required to meet goals, manage time available, and prioritize production based on deadlines Good technical skills, behavioral traits of process oriented, steady, helpful, analytical, problem solver, likes to work alone when required, methodical, consistent, detail oriented, precise High school diploma or equivalent Eligible to work in the U.S Preferred Qualifications At least 1 year of experience land surveying in support of Civil Engineering design Benefits (subject to probationary period) Retirement plan
