Sonic Connectors, A Superior Energy Services Company is currently seeking a CAD Draftsman to join our team in Midland TX (On-Site 5 days a week). The CAD Draftsman is responsible for assisting in design and drawings of manufactured materials within API GA requirements, and to ensure compliance with company quality standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Knowledge and comprehension of API 6A requirements Create and revise 2D drawings and 3D CAD models for parts and Produce fully-dimensioned, manufacturing drawings and wellhead stack-up Convert sketches, prototypes, and supplier data into CAD models for parts and Collaborate directly with engineering department to support sales, operations, manufacturing and other departments as necessary. Prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs), material lists, revision histories, and fabrication/assembly Assist engineering with work instructions, operational procedures and technical Maintain CAD library, templates, standards, and drawing revisions and control/drawing release procedures. Support engineering department with projects, design testing and other similar Support inspection/quality department by supplying drawing documentation and revisions after production feedback. Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

High school diploma Experience working in an Oil and Gas Industry preferred Minimum of two (2) years of design for Engineering CNC Manufacturing focused

Skills:

Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with CAD software, including Inventor Professional, Fusion 360, SolidWorks or Ability to adapt to new design tools and technologies Strong knowledge API 6A standards in design and manufacturing Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills Strong writing skills Attention to detail Produces error-free work Deadline-oriented Ensures that customers' requests come first Self-starter who thinks of innovative, faster ways to accomplish tasks Works with minimal supervision

Physical & Safety Requirements:

Sitting, bending, standing, walking, 8-10 hours per day Able to lift 40 lbs. Must comply with any safety or PPE requirements
