We pride ourselves on our expertise and commitment to quality. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechanical Designer located in Houston, TX. The Mechanical Designer will be responsible for creating technical drawings, designing assemblies, and conduct/aid in research and development. Day-to-day tasks include utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software, working on mechanical design projects, and collaborating with other team members to design and improve products. Qualifications:
Mechanical background with CNC operation experience. Proficiency in Fusion 360 for assemblies and building job packages. Proven experience in mechanical design, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work. Familiarity with a production environment. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non-engineering stakeholders. Competence in Excel and Word. Computer savvy and mechanically inclined with experience in 3D printing, laser printing, or 3D scanning (preferred). Suitable for a mechanical engineering student or new graduate, but open to other backgrounds.
Responsibilities:
70%: Reviewing manufacturing drawings, creating files for production, and documenting quality work orders. Develop and create detailed mechanical designs using software such as SolidWorks, Inventor, and Fusion360. Produce technical documentation, including specifications, reports, and manuals to support design processes. Conduct design reviews and incorporate feedback from stakeholders to refine designs. Perform simulations and analyses on designs to ensure functionality and manufacturability. Maintain organized records of design iterations and project documentation. 30%: Split between R&D and SOP/system development to support operations.

Midnight M-F Flexibility:
Flexible on time off.
