• $100,000 SCS Multifamily is looking for a high-level drafter to join our team.

We need someone strong in AutoCAD, highly detail-oriented, experienced in cabinet and countertop drafting, and ready to grow into greater responsibility over time. This is not an entry-level drafting role. We are looking for someone who can step in, produce at a high level, think critically, solve problems, and help strengthen the department. While this is not a formal leadership title, we want someone with the maturity, initiative, and leadership mindset to take ownership and help move the team forward. The most important differentiator in this hire is AI proficiency. We are specifically looking for someone who is highly capable with AI tools and knows how to use them in a practical, production-focused way to improve drafting workflows, communication, efficiency, and output quality. What You'll Do Create accurate, detailed AutoCAD drawings for cabinet, countertop, and related multifamily projects Turn design concepts, field dimensions, and project requirements into clear, buildable drawing packages Coordinate with project managers, sales, operations, production, and field teams Maintain a high standard of quality, precision, and consistency across drafting work Identify issues early and help support smoother project execution Use AI tools to improve speed, organization, communication, and workflow efficiency Contribute ideas, take initiative, and help elevate the overall performance of the drafting department What We're Looking For Strong AutoCAD experience with the ability to draft accurately and efficiently Experience in cabinets, countertops, millwork, casework, or similar trades Excellent attention to detail Strong work ethic and the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment Good communication and coordination skills Someone who takes ownership, solves problems, and follows through A team-oriented person who is willing to grow and take on more over time Strong proficiency with AI tools and a clear ability to apply them to real work AI Requirement AI fluency is a major part of this role. We are not looking for someone who has casually experimented with AI. We want someone who actively uses AI to work smarter, faster, and better. That may include improving drafting workflows, streamlining communication, organizing information, solving operational problems, and creating more efficient systems. If you are highly skilled in AutoCAD and also know how to use AI as a real advantage in a business environment, you will stand out immediately.
