Jackola Engineering and Architecture in Vancouver, Washington is seeking a talented and experienced BIM/CAD Design Technician to join our dynamic team. Join our full-service design team and make an impact! As an experienced BIM/CAD Design Technician, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals, clients, contractors, and vendors to shape innovative projects. Your expertise will drive consistency and ensure high-quality project delivery across a diverse portfolio—including office buildings, schools, multifamily residences, hotels, restaurants, banks, and retail spaces, along with other high-profile developments. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage project specific Autodesk Revit files across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines. Provide Autodesk Revit technical support for multidisciplinary studio team members throughout project design process. Engage in QA/QC procedures to ensure project deliverables meet client and contractor requirements. Work in a multidiscipline team environment to develop, design, and model architectural, structural, or MEP systems using Autodesk Revit. Represent design studio and specialized BIM/CAD discipline to drive company standards and quality improvement.
Requirements:
An associates degree (AA or AAS) in BIM/CAD or closely related field from a recognized institution. Minimum of 5 years relevant Autodesk Revit drafting and design experience in architecture, structural, or MEP systems. Architectural experience highly recommended but not required. Additional drafting and design experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D is a preference. Organized and able to handle multiple tasks at a time. Self-starter who can work independently and be part of a team.
