The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing manufacturing processes, developing and improving production processes, and ensuring that all processes are carried out efficiently and effectively. The Process Engineer will work closely with the Operations Manager and other members of the team to ensure that production processes are optimized for maximum efficiency and productivity. When you grow, we grow. How you will make an impact: As a Process Engineer, you will play a crucial role in optimizing and improving our manufacturing and production processes. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing efficient production systems to ensure high-quality output, reduce costs, and increase overall operational efficiency. Analyzes product and equipment specifications and performance requirements to determine designs that can be produced by existing manufacturing or processing facilities and methods. Determines feasibility of designing new plant equipment or modifying existing facilities considering costs, available space, time limitations, company planning, and other technical and economic factors. Provides technical information concerning manufacturing or processing techniques, materials, properties, and process advantages and limitations which affect long-range plant and product engineering planning. Confers with research personnel to clarify or resolve problems and develops design. Prepares or directs preparation of product or system layout and detailed drawings and schematics using 2-D and 3-D CAD software. Designs products and systems to interface machines, hardware, and software. Directs and coordinates fabrication and installation activities to ensure products and systems conform to engineering design and customer specifications. Create projects plans, which will include but are not limited to, schedules for due dates, testing, analysis, and documentation. Monitor status of project to ensure documentation is submitted according to schedule and delivery deadlines are met. Review and verify project documents for completeness, format, and compliance with Quality Assurance requirements. Assist maintenance and production in troubleshooting existing equipment problems and where applicable, modify equipment to improve both reliability and quality. This is an on-site role based out of our headquarters in Camarillo, CA. The skills and experience you'll need: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in a relevant Engineering discipline such as Mechanical, Chemical or Manufacturing Engineering. A minimum of 2 years of working experience in a similar position preferred. Must be Proficient with MS Office software including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and a working knowledge of a wide variety of software packages, operating systems, and equipment.
