Job Description:
Develops new or sustaining process formulations using semiconductor device and component theory and design, materials, and equipment. Assignments include the definition of processing and handling equipment requirements and specifications, review of processing techniques and methods applied in the manufacture, fabrication, and evaluation of semiconductors. Typically responsible for projects or portions of projects for process definition, fabrication, modification and evaluation of semiconductor devices and components. You will be a Photolithography Process Engineer at our Lockheed Martin Santa Barbara Focalplane site in Goleta, CA. We are seeking a Photolithography Subject Matter Expert to join our team and provide technical expertise and leadership in photolithography processes for semiconductor manufacturing.- What You Will Be Doing
- As the SME for Photolithography, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and leadership in the development, implementation, and optimization of photolithography processes for semiconductor manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Develop and implement new photolithography processes and techniques to improve yield, throughput, and quality + Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and quality, to ensure seamless integration of photolithography processes into overall semiconductor manufacturing + Analyze and resolve complex technical issues related to photolithography, including equipment, process, and material issues + Develop and maintain documentation, including process recipes, operating procedures, and technical reports + Provide training and guidance to junior engineers and technicians on photolithography processes and equipment + Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in photolithography, and apply this knowledge to improve company processes and products- Why Join Us

- This position is located at a facility that requires special access.- Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as physics, chemistry, materials science, or electrical engineering, etc.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, Masters Degree with 3+ years of relevant experience or PhD with research in relevant field.
- Experience with process development, optimization, and troubleshooting, as well as equipment maintenance and repair
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and provide technical guidance and training to junior engineers and technicians
- This position is located at a facility that requires special access, therefore U.S. citizenship is required
- Desired Skills
- Master's or Ph.D. degree in a relevant field
- PhD with research in Optics in relation to photonics.
- Experience with advanced photolithography techniques
- Familiarity with semiconductor industry standards and regulations, such as ISO 9001 and
ISO 14001
- Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and design of experiments (DOE) methodologies

Full-Time Salary Range:
