Position Overview We are looking for an energetic Materials & Process Engineer to lead the research, development, optimization and scale-up processes for integrating reticular materials into hydrogen storage and separation systems. This role involves hands-on experimental work, process design & implementation, reticular-material packaging and system testing in a dynamic, interdisciplinary environment. Key Tasks and responsibilities o Research, develop and scale up processes for handling and packaging reticular materials. o Design tools, fixtures, and workflows to improve process efficiency and repeatability. o Operate and maintain hydrogen systems testing lab equipment, including gas sorption analyzers. o Independently conduct long-duration experiments for surface area and pore size analysis, and to collect pressure-composition-temperature (PCT/PCI) isotherms, kinetics, and cycle-life data. o Help with safety and risk assessments including HAZOP and HAZID studies. o Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the lab environment. o Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of chemists, material scientists, mechanical engineers, and system integrators. Essential Qualifications o Master's degree in materials science or chemical engineering; Ph.D. is preferred. o Minimum 10 years of industry experience in materials & process engineering. o Strong background in nanomaterials process research, optimization, and scale-up. o Comfortable with extended lab work and material processing. o Experience with glove-box operations, high-pressure gas systems and hydrogen. o Proficiency in troubleshooting, experimental documentation and technical reporting. o Excellent interpersonal and team collaboration skills.
Pay:
$110,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
