This role will support multiple facilities and is responsible for improving process performance, equipment reliability, and technical execution across maintenance and processing functions. The Technical Manager will provide indirect leadership to Maintenance Technicians, Process Technicians, and plant technical teams while helping standardize best practices across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership and support across multiple injection molding facilities
- Indirectly lead and develop Maintenance Technicians, Process Technicians, and plant technical teams
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on uptime, process efficiency, scrap reduction, and reliability
- Support troubleshooting of complex equipment, processing, tooling, and automation issues
- Standardize maintenance and processing best practices across facilities
- Partner with plant leadership on equipment performance, staffing development, training, and technical problem-solving
- Support capital projects, equipment installations, and process improvement initiatives
- Maintain high standards for safety, organization, operational discipline, and technical execution
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in injection molding manufacturing, maintenance, processing, or technical leadership
- Strong knowledge of injection molding processes, tooling, resins, automation, and auxiliary equipment
- Proven ability to lead and influence maintenance and technical teams across multiple locations
- Experience troubleshooting molding equipment, maintenance systems, and process issues in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong continuous improvement, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Hands-on leadership style with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop technical personnel
- Bi-Lingual English Spanish (EN/SP) strongly preferred
