We are working with an exciting rare earth focused startup in the Bay Area. They're seeking a hands-on metallurgical engineer who thrives in pilot-scale environments and has a track record of scaling high-temperature or chemical extraction processes from bench experiments into pilot operations while solving real-world process challenges. •

•Responsibilities Competitive base salary Very generous Equity Real opportunity to build and scale a first-of-its-kind process Qualifications 4+ years in extractive metallurgy, hydromet, or pyromet Experience with scale-up or pilot plant operations Background working with complex or unconventional feedstocks is preferred (tailings, slag, recycling, etc.) Hands-on experience with materials characterization techniques Fully onsite in Bay Area
