Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Thin Films Engineer to join our innovative manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in most all coating related activities including: running coating chambers, troubleshooting, assisting with quoting, R&D. Responsibilities Research, design, and develop complex thin films coatings, materials, coating processes, and related tooling. Oversee the formulation of thin film coating run instructions and procedures and ensure implementation. Determine cause and corrective procedures for failed coating runs. Determine coating and test equipment manufacturing capability/test accuracy and recommends equipment upgrades, modifications, and/or improvements. Develop new coating equipment/process technology. Develop in-depth familiarity of all coating and metrology equipment, to include operation and related theory. Develop new processes to optimize and expand existing manufacturing capability. Document production problem solutions and new production processes. Write new equipment procedural methods in an easily understood format. Perform vacuum chamber troubleshooting as required. Ensure specific projects as assigned by management are professionally completed and delivered on time. Provide project leadership, work direction, and training to lower-level personnel. Establish standards of productivity, efficiency, and cost effectiveness. Keep abreast of ongoing changes within the thin film technical field. Train and educate personnel involved with job processes and maintenance procedures (machines, materials, and process techniques). Work with customers to resolve complex custom-designs and technical problems. Learn, understand, and implement

2015 to ensure compliance. Responsible for performing other related duties as assigned or directed to meet the goals and objectives of the department and the organization.
Pay:
$80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
