At Excelitas Technologies you are how we EXCEL. We are currently seeking a Senior Metrology Engineer who will manage the transfer, tools, and processes from development engineering, including
IQ/OQ/PQ
qualifications, gage studies, statistical process control, reliability, and process documentation.
Main Responsibilities:
Serves as a technical subject matter expert for optical metrology, with specific expertise in areas such as surface metrology, spectrophotometry, and laser measurement. Supports the transfer of metrology tools and processes from development to production. Support continuous improvement of metrology, process controls, reliability, and up time. Creates and improves documentation for the measurement and quality control of optical components. Trains technicians on the use of tools and processes for optical metrology. Conducts tool and process verification studies using Gauge R&R and similar techniques. Supports troubleshooting of existing optical metrology equipment and processes. Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Physics, Optics, or related field (Chemistry, EE, etc.). Advanced degree desirable. 10 years experience with optical metrology desirable. Proficiency with equipment or metrology automation programming (e.g. LabView, Python). Proficiency with Gauge R&R desirable. Proficiency with Statistical Process Control desirable. Pay Range:
$130,000 - $155,000 per year, depending on experience.
