Job Description
As a CSE Supply Chain Coordinator you will procure and manage the materials specified by Control Systems Engineering department and the Electrical Assembly team, as pertaining to the specific functions outlined below. Essential Functions Review and ensure that the Bill of Materials adheres to AGR requirements and matches the engineering and assembly needs. Responsible for the accuracy of kit completion within the electrical assembly department, including any procurement to address any nonconformances or missing components. Responsible for maintaining the electrical assembly inventory for accuracy and organization. Be able to create/generate reports (Bill of Material, etc.) from the electrical schematics and engineering provided spreadsheets and other information conveyance. Responsible for maintaining BOM revisions including material flow to the floor and the re-papering kits with updated travelers. Collaboration with the Crib and Finance for successfully running each required inventory audit. Provide feedback to both the Controls Engineer and the Draftsman through the redline procedure for issues found on the electrical schematics and BOM. Responsible for project material tracking of electrical components, both physically and in Epicor. Coordination with Procurement and Controls Engineering on any issues. Timely disposition of any unused or unneeded BOM electrical and pneumatic items from the project and back to inventory, returned for credit or other disposition methods. Responsible for purchasing CSE equipment as required for projects in support of CSE procurement, including acting as interim backup in the absence of the primary CSE procurement person. Collaborate with both mechanical and electrical resources to meet project requirements.
Work with others:
(Engineers, Project Managers, Customers, and Vendors etc.) Work with the AGR personnel and customers throughout the building process to provide the most efficient sharing of information. Provide feedback to Project Manager and Production Coordinator regarding project schedules. Provide estimates upon request to applications or other internal sources. Work closely with other department supervisors / leads to coordinate activities to maintain production schedule and profitability. Analyze and resolve work problems or assist workers in solving work problems. Maintain inventory levels of standard components and assemblies to support product lines using historical data and knowledge. Maintain usable records of quotes and purchase orders; verify invoice pricing. Demonstrate application of acquired knowledge from Lean training. Follow theAGR ISO9001
procedures. Observe and enforce company policy, safety and security procedures. Be consistently at work and punctual; clock job times accurately Requirements Proficiency in Epicor. Proficiency with the AGR Procurement processes. Proficiency with SolidWorks Electrical, AUTOCAD Electrical, and the historical database, as required. Qualifications Ability to read, analyze, and interpret electrical schematics, BOM s and applicable Epicor dashboards. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions applicable to electrical schematics, BOMs, and electrical components. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of issues that arise from incorrect data, prints, and documents released from Controls Engineering. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position, and typical work hours are Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Travel On occasion, travel, with reasonable notice, may be expected for this position. Preferred Education and Experience Experience in the use and understanding of electrical engineering concepts, philosophies, standards and layouts utilized by AGR in the design and manufacturing of our automation equipment.Similar remote jobs
