Job Description

The FBW & Secondary Flight Control Engineering team and the business are looking for a Senior Professional, Engineering who has product and process to ensure a sustaining program (Challenger, Global Express, Global 8000) while preparing it for the challenges and demands of the future (Ecojet). Perform the integration of the FBW & Secondary Flight Controls system on the aircraft. Support the development of concepts, design approach and philosophy with the Flight Control system supplier. Perform/Review analysis to evaluate concepts feasibility. Develop, validate and verify technical requirements of the Flight Control System. Review/Prepare technical requirements Review/Prepare test procedures Execute test rig and/or aircraft testing Review/Prepare test reports in support of certification activities Resolve problems arising from in-service aircraft. Troubleshooting, root cause determination, corrective action definition and execution Ensure compliance to the ARP4754 development process. Support trade off studies and life cycle cost analysis for future programs. Ensure the design process and the resulting equipment implementation is in line with Bombardier's requirements and standards. Occasional trips to the Suppliers facilities and Regulatory Authorities, as well as on-site support to the Final Assembly Line (Toronto & Montreal), Completion Centers (Montreal), Flight Test Center (Wichita).
