Full Job Description Overview:

Storion is an innovative stored energy components and solutions provider focusing on LDES (Long Duration Energy Storage) flow batteries. Storion Energy converts Western-friendly sources of mined and recycled vanadium oxides into the high-quality electrolyte, which is the heart of a vanadium redox flow battery (VRFB). With infinite electrolyte recyclability, Storion is making earth-to-energy a reality. Storion's new production facility and operations lab are located north of Atlanta in Alpharetta, GA. This is a paid Co-Op position with the expectation that students will rotate semesters between work and school. We are looking for Chemical Engineering students for a Co-Op beginning in the summer of 2027.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities and assignments may include: Working on product development Hands-on testing in the R D Lab Data processing and analysis Chemical Process design, control, and operation development Kinetics determination and modeling Unit operation design/equipment specification Process documentation Material compatibility testing Many more exciting and challenging experiences Past Co-Ops gained knowledge in experimental design (DOE), R D processes, and professional development.

Qualifications:

We are looking for students: Working towards a BS in Chemical Engineering With a GPA of 3.0 or greater You must have housing and transportation The position requires working on-site daily Our environment is casual but professional, and our Co-Ops are exposed to senior-level leaders.
