Job description Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) is seeking a Process Engineering Intern to support our printed circuit board manufacturing team. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in PCB fabrication while collaborating with process engineers to improve workflows and document processes. This is a great opportunity for a local university student who is available to work full-time in the summer and part-time during the school year. If you are eager to learn, contribute, and grow this might be the internship for you. As a Process Engineer Intern, a typical day might include the following: Implement, modify, and document assembly processes. Assist project execution, conduct experiments, collect and report results Assist new processes and new component qualification Design, implement, and modify tooling for process improvement Provide support to engineering staff and management as needed. This job might be for you if: Current student pursuing a degree in an engineering or mathematics field at a local accredited institution Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment Background check results satisfactory to SEL Negative drug test result(s) Preferred Qualifications Experience troubleshooting process machinery problems Experience writing and/or conducting Design of Experiments Working knowledge of electronics industry manufacturing processes and machinery Familiarity with modern test equipment Physical Requirements None Location Moscow, ID - This position is located in Moscow, ID, home to our state of the art Printed Circuit Board factory.
