Project Engineer - Food Processing Industry Cozzini LLC Cozzini Elk Grove Village, IL Description Cozzini, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Project Engineer to support the successful execution of food processing equipment projects from concept through completion. This role serves as a key connection point between Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Customers to ensure projects are delivered accurately, efficiently, and on schedule. The ideal candidate will have strong technical and organizational skills, experience managing engineering projects, and the ability to collaborate across multiple departments in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

Review customer quotes and specifications to ensure technical feasibility and project accuracy Develop layouts and designs that align with customer requirements and operational needs Serve as the primary liaison between Sales, Design Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing, and Operations teams Define project scope, establish manufacturing locations, and coordinate project execution activities Create and manage project timelines, delivery schedules, and project review meetings Monitor project budgets and coordinate with outside vendors and suppliers to secure required components and materials Oversee quality assurance processes and equipment testing to ensure systems meet company and customer standards Ensure all project drawings and specifications receive customer approval prior to production Coordinate with Service teams to support equipment installation and successful project completion Manage project close-out activities and maintain accurate project documentation Identify and resolve project challenges while maintaining timelines and customer expectations

Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering 3-5 years of experience in sales engineering, application engineering, or project engineering Proficiency with AutoCAD Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously Willingness to travel as required

Experience with Autodesk Inventor Background in food processing equipment or manufacturing environments Salary Description up to 90K + Bonus
