Illinois , Roselle Job Description We are working with a client company who is seeking a Process Engineer for a gearbox manufacturing company. This company has been in business for 100 years and is growing! Position Overview The Process Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving manufacturing processes related to gear production. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with gear cutting, heat treatment, grinding, and finishing operations, and understands the technical requirements of producing high-precision gears to AGMA standards. Key Responsibilities Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for spur, helical, bevel, and worm gears Create and maintain routings, work instructions, and process documentation Improve cycle times, reduce scrap, and enhance process capability Support new product introduction from engineering release through production Collaborate with Quality to address non-conformances and implement corrective actions Troubleshoot machining and heat treat issues related to gear geometry and performance Analyze tooling performance and recommend improvements Lead continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma methodologies preferred) Work closely with Production to ensure process stability and repeatability Ensure compliance with ISO quality standards and customer specifications For more information or to apply directly, contact Alana at alana.seddon@gogpac.com All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable laws or regulations.
