Overland Park, KS Job Details 1 day ago Qualifications Industrial automation PLC programming Full Job Description Indra is looking for a talented Automation & Control Systems Engineer (VA Implementation) to join our team in Kansas. In this role, you will design, implement, and optimize advanced automation solutions, working directly on production systems in a high-impact industrial environment. Key Responsibilities Program, configure, and deploy PLC-based automation systems (Siemens preferred) Integrate control systems into production lines and plant operations Interface with SCADA systems, vision systems, and industrial platforms Perform system commissioning, testing, and optimization Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on-site Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams Create technical documentation and deliver user training Required Qualifications U.S. Citizenship (required due to government/defense project work) Active passport required Strong experience with Siemens PLC programming (TIA Portal) Background in industrial automation and production systems Ability to work independently in fast-paced, high-reliability environments Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with SCADA systems and industrial integration Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (OPC UA, Modbus) Experience with automated inspection or vision systems Spanish language skills (a plus) Education & Experience Bachelor's degree or technical certification in Automation, Robotics, Electronics, or related field Minimum 3+ years of PLC programming and industrial automation experience Experience commissioning and optimizing industrial systems Why Join Us?
